A Dumpster Alternative for Remodels and Renovations
Every renovation creates a pile. Tear out a kitchen and you've got cabinets, countertops, and old appliances. Pull up flooring and there's carpet, padding, tack strip, laminate, or broken tile. Re-do a bathroom and you're looking at a vanity, a toilet, drywall, and a tub surround. The pile grows faster than you'd think, and it's in the way of everything that comes next.
Red Top Scoopers offers construction debris removal and renovation cleanup for homeowners, DIYers, contractors, flippers, and property managers across Cartersville, Bartow County, Northwest Georgia, and Metro Atlanta.
Junk Removal vs. Renting a Dumpster
A roll-off dumpster can make sense for a long, large project. But for many renovations, junk removal is the better fit:
- No driveway damage or HOA issues. Dumpsters are heavy, sit for days or weeks, and some neighborhoods restrict them.
- No loading it yourself. With a dumpster, you're still the one carrying everything out. With us, our crew does the loading.
- No weight surprises or overage fees from a dumpster that ended up heavier than expected.
- Pay for what you have. You're not paying for a 20-yard container to haul 6 yards of debris.
- Flexible timing. Call us once at the end of demo, or schedule several pickups as the project moves along.
Debris We Haul
- Drywall and plaster
- Flooring: carpet, padding, laminate, vinyl, hardwood, and tile
- Cabinets, countertops, vanities, and shelving
- Toilets, sinks, tubs, and shower surrounds
- Doors, windows, and trim
- Lumber, framing scraps, and decking boards

- Old fixtures, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
- Appliances removed during a kitchen remodel — see appliance removal
Heavy materials like concrete, brick, dirt, and roofing shingles are priced differently because of their weight, and very large amounts may be better suited to a dumpster. Ask us. We'll tell you honestly which option makes more sense for your job.
What We Can't Take From a Job Site
We can't haul hazardous materials. That includes asbestos-containing materials, lead-paint abatement waste, wet paint, solvents, adhesives, and chemical containers. In older Georgia homes, asbestos can turn up in flooring, ceiling texture, and pipe insulation. It needs to be tested and handled by licensed abatement professionals. For Contractors and Flippers
Keeping a job site clean keeps it safe and keeps inspections, photos, and the next trade on schedule. We work with general contractors, remodelers, handymen, and house flippers who need reliable, on-call debris removal without managing a dumpster. We're licensed and insured, and we're open 7 days a week. That helps when you're trying to keep a weekend project moving.
Pricing for Construction Debris
Debris is quoted by volume and weight. Send a photo of the pile and a rough sense of the materials to 404-649-4654, and we'll give you an upfront quote. More detail is on our pricing FAQ.
Common Questions
Is junk removal cheaper than a dumpster for a remodel?
Often, for small and mid-size projects — especially when you factor in that our crew does all the loading. For long, very large projects, a dumpster can make more sense, and we'll tell you if so.
Do you take concrete, brick, or shingles?
Smaller amounts, yes. These materials are very heavy, so they're priced differently. Large quantities may be better suited to a dumpster.
Can you remove debris that might contain asbestos?
No. Suspected asbestos must be tested and handled by licensed abatement professionals.
